There has been an important announcement in the national beauty landscape. Beauty Expo Australia, which was to be held in Sydney in August, has been postponed to mid-October due to ongoing COVID restrictions.

“The Beauty Expo Australia team want to express our concern for everyone impacted by COVID. In the context of the current situation and out of an abundance of caution, we have made the necessary decision to postpone Beauty Expo Australia, which was to be held at the ICC Sydney from 28-29 August 2021,” a statement from the event read.

“Beauty Expo Australia will now take place on 16-17 October 2021. RX (Reed Exhibitions), organisers of Beauty Expo Australia, will continue to monitor the situation closely as it evolves. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees, industry partners and staff and we will continue to act on the expert advice from the Australian Government Department of Health and local health departments.”

The event was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, so hopefully the beauty industry can reunite in 2021 at the October event.

“We fully understand and appreciate the level of planning that is required to participate in an event like ours and we will do our utmost to help all our customers, partners and attendees to prepare for the new dates. We would like to thank everyone for the encouragement, patience and support in the lead up to Beauty Expo Australia and we look forward to working with you to make October a huge success,” the event statement said.
