After securing the coveted 2013 TONI&GUY International Image of the Year Award, Hair Expo Colour Technician of the Year 2013 finalist Cayley Norman, and leading Art Team member Kelly Wright collaborated for a menswear photo shoot entitled ‘His Dark Materials’, for TONI&GUY Magazine.
Photographed at the TONI&GUY Academy in London, this shoot also features incredible international talent including Image of The Year Award winner Amparo Carratala from TONI&GUY Spain, and International Artistic Director Pinar Necati.
The shoots imagery features black and white monochromes blending with bold textures in a strong creative fusion of macho style.
“The creation of image is our creativity on paper,” said Kelly. “We have our terminology, which is our language, but our imagery translates our words into an inspirational, passionate driving force… Our images represent our brand, in all our works from around the world at TONI&GUY, our language is bilingual in such we can put over 100 images from around the world into one book and it will be a seamless collection.”
label.m Fashion Week favourites including Blow Out Spray, Sea Salt Spray, Resurrection Style Dust and Texture Wax Stick were applied to natural hair to create a multi-textured matte finish on the hair. Structured and polished styles were formed with label.m Gel to hold and glosses styles for a classic evening-wear look.

“It was by far one of the best moments of my career and to have my teammate and creative partner in crime Kelly Wright with me the whole way was amazing,” said Cayley.
