Acclaimed session stylist Carole Haddad will be hosting five seminars in Cairns and Atherton. Haddad will head to Far North Queensland for the first time to teach classes in cut, colour and long hair styles starting at the end of August.
In a résumé that includes runway and TV work, international publication, salon ownership, education experience and a host of accolades, Haddad boats a decorated career in the hair industry. She is the owner of Brisbane’s Corcorz Hair and has been the stylist to newsreaders on Channels 7, 9, 10 and the ABC. She is in her 10th year as Creative Director of the Natural Fibres Parade at the Brisbane Royal Show has been the F.A.M.E. Team Artistic Director. She has been named AFHA Queensland Hairdresser of the Year, Men’s Hairdresser of the Year and Director of Salon Team of the Year, as well as representing Australia in the Visionary Awards at the Alternative Hair Show.
“After visiting the TAFE North Queensland some time ago, I was welcomed with open arms and had a great time presenting to students,” Haddad said. “It’s only logical for me to return with some seminars that will help provide salons with new commercial looks for both everyday and the racing season. Atherton is the second port of call where I look forward to taking the local hairdressing community at Rylee Venable’s Arvie Salon.”
Haddad will host three seminars in Cairns at TAFE North Queensland on Sunday the 31st of August. She will host a new cuts and colours workshop from 9:30 to 11:30am, a long hair workshop for races and formals from 12:30pm to 2:30pm and a seminar created particularly for students and apprentices to ask questions about technical, session or creative styling from 3pm to 5pm.
On Monday the 1st of September, Haddad will head to Arvie Salon in Atherton, for the cuts and colours seminar from 9am to 11am and long hair workshop from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Packages are available to book the group of classes.
