The inaugural Colour Queens education series debuted to sell-out crowds and raucous acclaim, with classes in Sydney and Melbourne finding success. Following on from these dates, the Colour Queens themselves (that’s Belinda Keeley of Chumba Concept Salon Melbourne, Edwards and Co.’s Kristina Russell, Mia De Vries of The Fox and the Hair and Monique McMahon, QUE Colour Sydney educator) have announced three brand new dates around the country (and New Zealand!), taking the total upcoming classes to five.
“Colouring is the number one revenue generator in salons today,” Belinda shared. “As such, colouring is a skill set that salon owners can confidently invest in for maximum productivity and profitability from their team. For individual stylists, becoming a standout colourist in this competitive marketplace will set you up to be not only successful and prosperous, but also let you tap into an endless journey of creative opportunities.”
The Look and Learn seminars show off each Queen’s unique colour skills, in a format hosted by international educator Grant Norton. The seminars run for six hours each and present eight total colour looks, with no pre-work – each colour is prepared and finalised on stage.
“Our industry is based on creativity,” Monique said. “We share the same passion, and platforms like Colour Queens enable us to collaborate closely on ideas, techniques and trends that will inspire each of us.”
The upcoming seminars will be conducted in Sydney on June 26, Queensland on July 3, Auckland on July 24, a to-be-confirmed regional date on September 4 and Melbourne on October 9. Each class is offered for $495, with limited places available.
