A selection of colour maestros will gather in Sydney and Melbourne to teach their tricks of the trade next month, with a range of high-profile educators congregating for the Colour Queens workshop.
The session will host QUE Academy Director Monique McMahon, alongside Belinda Keeley of (you guessed it) Belinda Keeley Education and Chumba Concept Salon, as well as Edwards and Co.’s Kristina Russell and Mia de Vries from the Fox and the Hair, all hosted by Grant Norton.
“Four of the industry’s brightest colour sparks under one roof,” Belinda enthused. “Colour Queens is an experience not to be missed by any colourist wanting to lift their skills and creativity to the next level. I wanted to create an opportunity for our amazing pool of colour talent to get up close and personal with the Colour Queens leading the way in terms of creativity, collaboration and business here in Australia.”
The six hour Look and Learns (to be held in Melbourne on February 13 and Sydney on February 20) will show off eight complete colour looks from the four presenters, with no pre-work – instead, everything will truly be created on stage! Trend forecasts, in-salon colouring techniques and expert knowledge will all be shared throughout the day.
“For the first time ever, four of Australia’s leading colourists share the stage to bring their trends and techniques,” Monique shared. “Get up close and personal with each of us during an intimate day – guaranteed to inspire and motivate your team to succeed for 2017. What I love is that each of us has a tool kit full of our own personalised tricks and tips, which attendees will be able to discover over the course of 6 hours. It’s a unique opportunity to get inside our little Black Book of colour secrets. Each of us has something different to bring to the table.”
