If your clients are looking to adopt the latest trending colour, a bold option is available to them in the form of copper. Splashed in the pages and on the sites of global fashion and celebrity publications such as Harper’s BAZAAR and Us Weekly as a definitive trend, there are a myriad of celebrities and pop cultural staples leading this charge.

The new celebrity wave of copper colour includes Kendall Jenner’s famous transformation as unveiled on the Prada runway at Milan Fashion Week in February. Zendaya also wore the look in March to Valentino at Paris Fashion Week. Formerly blonde Game of Thrones Star Sophie Turner matched her on screen character by going copper in 2021, now taking the colour more scarlet this year. These are just a few A-listers leading the way as the colour pops up on fittingly red carpets worldwide.

The trend isn’t surprising given pop cultural hits as well. Netflix breakout show The Queen’s Gambit starred Anya Taylor-Joy in unforgettable copper. It had viewers breaking out the chessboards in record rates at the end of 2020, and clearly influenced more than just board game preferences too.

The trend is clearly a statement look and not for the faint of heart, which is ideal for clients wanting to stand out and have fun with their look as we get back to some sort of COVID normalcy. It can be adaptable to a range of clients when following their natural undertones, so start suggesting the trend when your clients are in your chair.
