It’s back – three looks that comprise the new editorial offering from De Lorenzo, named Ivy, Camilla and Willow under the inspiring and relevant The Paradise Collection – otherwise known as the brand’s long awaited Novacolor collection for 2016/17.
Beginning with Ivy, a natural look with a very De Lorenzo-esque nod to the 70s, the first models reinterprets the fringe with an otherwise mid-length cut. The colours explore different shades of copper and blonde, while the style relies on products such as Essential Treatments Infinite Detangler and Elements Amplify to enhance the condition and create volume. Lastly, the goji berry-infused Elements Afterglow tames flyaways and completed the chic final look.
Look two, titled Camilla, is described as showcasing ‘Australian Glamour’, as inspired by natural beauty. Casual waves, a deep side part and vibrant coffee colours define the look, with lighter shades highlighting the mid-lengths and ends of the cut. This colour is created thanks to Novafusion Chocolate, while the styling is created courtesy of Instant Accentu8 Satur8, Elements Sea Swell and Rejuven8 The Ends for detangling, body, shine and a split end-free finish.
Lastly, Willow is the necessary summer windswept, voluminous blonde look, also structurally defined by a deep side part but with plenty of texture in the body of the hair. The platinum blonde tone is offset by a more natural hue in the roots, an intriguing colour combination devised with Novafusion Silver and Novafusion Beige Blonde shampoo, which enhances the tones. Elements Motion, Elements Barrel Wave and the Essential Treatments Absorb dry shampoo preps the hair, creates texture, controls oil in the roots and adds volume.
De Lorenzo’s Novacolor collections are something of a Spring Summer tradition, and it wouldn’t feel right welcoming the warmer months without their stylistic input (in fact, maybe now that we’re unveiling the looks here we can expect better weather). Make use of these salon relevant trends in colour, cut and style to get you through the final parts of the year.
