e SALON’s ‘Disconnected Smoke & Roses’ Show at INDUSTRY NZ

Led by Lisa Muscat and Emiliano Vitale, the é SALON Artistic Team presented an inspiring showcase at the 2014 INDUSTRY NZ event at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland on Sunday 16th March 2014.

The theme of the é SALON show was ‘Disconnected Smoke & Roses,’ a combination of Lisa’s Disconnected collection – about the eye catching disconnection between intricate hair design and the simplicity of the image – and Emiliano’s Smoke & Roses – a creative collection that merges art, creativity and precision. The duo combined these ideas to present looks for nine long-haired models.

The event was a dream come true for Lisa. “When I received the invitation to be in New Zealand and be a part of INDUSTRY I felt extremely honoured,” she explained.

“I always hope for people to love my work, because I love what I do and I really want that to translate through my work. To have me and my team presenting internationally and sharing our creativity and what we love is all you ever dream for!”

Sara Allsop, creator of INDUSTRY NZ, which is New Zealand’s premiere hairdressing event where hair and fashion collide in a night of creativity and inspiration, was impressed with the showcase.

“é SALON impressed me so much with the detail in the hair, and the slickness of the AV production, and the intricate work on each of the looks,” said Sara.

“Both Emiliano and Lisa were a dream to work with [and] I am so thankful they wanted to bring the very best in hair and production to our event and they delivered it professionally and impeccably.”
