International supermodel Emily Ratajkowski has opted for a big colour change, colouring her hair for the very time first time and doing it with luxe haircare brand Kérastase. Emily has worked with the brand for three years, fostering a sense of trust with Kérastase that finally allowed her to take the leap into a bold new blonde look for the Northern Hemisphere’s summer.
The renowned brunette was concerned about the toll a big colour change would have on her hair health. The brand’s recently launched Blond Absolu, their first exclusive colour range for blondes, allowed her to make the decision, knowing she could have both quality condition and her hair colour of choice at the same time. The products provide both the necessary fibre care and toning capabilities for blonde coloured hair. The range is available for clients in Kérastase salons and online via the L’Oréal Professional Products Division’s Support Your Salon Initiative.
With this change, Emily will be the face of the new Blond Absolu campaign, which will be released in January 2021.
“I’ve never colored my hair or changed the length significantly in my entire life! I’m absolutely thrilled that Kérastase gave me their blessing to become a blonde,” Emily said. “I just celebrated my birthday and am so happy to be coming out of quarantine with a fresh new look. Beauty is meant to be fun and expressive and this is definitely, hands down, the most fun I’ve ever had with my look before.”
As clients emerge from lockdown eager to try out a new style or colour change, make sure you’re providing quality, care and a consistent ‘wow’ factor in the chair. Emily certainly ticks all the boxes.
