Esstudio Galleria co-owners Aleks Abadia and Jacqui Arnold are celebrating five years of their Chippendale hair and beauty salon with some updates and announcements. The pair has revamped their unique and eclectic Chippendale space and are also launching a new colour and beauty bar, coming soon to Parramatta. The updates to their original space indicate their increased focus on men’s hair, sustainability and philanthropy, ensuring the salon is on the rise.
“Five years has certainly gone fast! We’re thrilled with the upgrade to our Chippendale space. We wanted to give back and make an even better space to say thank you for the support from our loyal clients and friends,” the pair said. “Our new zones and extra chair space allows for more clients to experience the salon, but we’ve made sure the original look and feel we are known for has been maintained.”
The updates to the Chippendale salon include aesthetic changes such as a new secluded basin area that incorporates flat massage beds in a rose gold curtained off space, an extra round table in the main area that has increased the styling and colour zone from eight work stations to eighteen and a new state of the art lighting system based off the movement in each space for optimal hairdressing results. The treatment rooms are also now sound-proofed to make them feel like a haven away from busy life, and allow clients to fully relax.
The salon still maintains its varied and vintage style, with unique pieces, pictures and plants (the retro chandelier hanging in the centre of the main room acts as a salon centrepiece) proving this is a salon like no other, and the product of Aleks and Jacqui’s distinct visions.
Beyond these structural changes, Esstudio Galleria has made bold and impressive steps forward in a myriad of other sectors. The updated space hosts a dedicated barber zone, with their signature denim barber chairs expanded to three chairs and moved to their own area, showing a heightened and specialised focus on men’s hair.
Beyond that, the salon has made moves to become more sustainable, joining Sustainable Salons Australia and introducing new programs that see 95 per cent of salon waste recycled. They will also use eco-friendly brands such as Pureology. Additionally, the team will now offer clients cutting their hair the opportunity to donate their hair to make wigs for children suffering from cancer.
These are bold moves and important changes that see Esstudio Galleria go from strength to strength – their new colour and beauty bar in Paramatta presents the next major change.
“Works are underway for our new salon located in the heart of Parramatta Barrack lane,” Aleks shared. “We have taken over one of the oldest heritage buildings in Parramatta. Stay tuned for more details coming soon!”
