On World Down Syndrome Day on March 21, Evo, in conjunction with the Gauvin Family Foundation, did their part to support this important cause, as part of their ongoing commitment to supporting this community.
Through this initiative, Evo raised funds and participated in the #LotsofSocks campaign in office, while also hosting a pamper morning for 11 young adults with Down syndrome and their carers to style them for the Foundation 21 Reunion Gala Ball. Two prominent Adelaide salons, The Basin Haircutters and CONK Hair, donated their time and expertise to provide hair makeovers for the event.

The cause and event is close to the hearts of Evo and the Gauvin Family Foundation, as inspired by and in support of the brand’s Adelaide Warehouse Manager, Michael Dann, whose grandson Remi was born in December with Down Syndrome and medical complications. This initiative was created from a desire to help families like Michael and is something that affects so many families across Australia.
“As a family-owned business, we remain committed to raising awareness and funds for Down syndrome,” shared Garth Gauvin of the Gauvin Family Foundation. “This event is just one of the many ways we aim to foster inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and provide tangible support to our community.”
