Franck Provost Releases Spring/Summer 2017 Collection

You’ve come to expect no less than luxury from Franck Provost and their latest Spring/Summer 2017 collection delivers on that, presenting the Give Me Gold group of images with new haircuts and rich colour techniques to define your clients’ summer style.

Suitably salon relevant and centred on luscious, natural hair and colour, the versatile cuts and shades present what’s to come in seasonal trends.

The colour looks are segmented into four categories – first, as the name suggests, Gold, utilising a new technique called Balayage 2Ors, that incorporates subtle golden shades for a warm, sun kissed result. Then, Chocolate Blush is another major colour trend, offering sophisticated and low maintenance brunette hues with warm chestnut hand-painted features and high sheen for clients looking for a subtle change. The Brun Cashmere trend is predicated on application skills, using an alternating blend of light and dark colour veils on brown hair, applied with a sponge for greater transparency. Lastly, Indian Sun is the brand’s take on hair contouring, employing colour to emphasise the eyes and enhance facial strengths in a low-maintenance and seasonal colour look.

Beyond colour, the collection is comprised of trending cuts as well. Firstly, The Choppy Bob is a texture-driven cut, with long top layers sculpting the face and an elongated side fringe creating the ideal structure for a beachy look. The Short Sophisticate looks suitably cropped without sacrificing much length, with disconnected layers and a shorter back for peak versatility, leading to a tousled or sleek finish as styled. The Layered Lob cut again uses a side-fringe with a mid-length cut, rounding hair near the face for delicate movement and best worn with soft curls or pure texture. Lastly, the New Updo style is all about French-girl luxury, created via sectioning and inspired by a cute rockabilly aesthetic. The hair is tied up in a chignon with loose ends that are then curled and randomly pinned for a strong, effortless style.

Championing wearable styles, cut and colour and taking their inspiration directly from their home base and the fashion capital of the world – Franck Provost’s aesthetic and many new techniques are worthy weapons to holster heading into the summer salon season. After all, your clients will be expecting holiday hair, even when closer to home.
