The focus of the hair and beauty industries will turn north this May, when the first ever Brisbane Hair and Beauty Expo takes place on May 3rd and 4th at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. INSTYLE will be at the forefront of the inaugural event as a media partner of the expo.
Promising a dynamic exhibition floor packed with the latest products, tools and techniques, the Expo will also offer entertainment and education seminars for the attendees. A Centre Stage and Spotlight Stage will feature some of the industry’s most notable presenters, while an extensive education agenda will please all those looking to expand their knowledge. Opportunities for relaxation and leisure come in the form of the Schwarzkopf Champagne Lounge or Be(you)tiful Bar, ensuring you can both learn, kick back and enjoy.
The expo is committed to involving all attendees and a range of interactive Hair Competitions provides just the format for you to take part. An arena on the expo floor will host a variety of Hair Competitions, managed by Brisbane-based hairdressing, retail and business trainers MIG Training, which is operated by the Australian Hairdressing Council’s (AHC) Director, Anthony Gray. Industry greats such as Tracey Hughes and Lorna Evans will be part of the judging panel, so start preparing to share your skills and gain recognition for your craft. Game on.
Hairdressers can showcase their talents in 11 categories including Ladies and Men’s Cutting (both open to Senior and Apprentice/Student), Upstyling (Traditional and Avante Garde), Traditional Barbering and Colour (Contemporary and Futuristic).
From shows to education, competitions, product displays and more, the Brisbane Hair and Beauty Expo is already feeling worth the hype.
