Hairdressers have until November 24 to supply collections to Hair Shots 2 The World for global release to hair media. The collections can comprise four to six images in high resolution, including full credits and inspiration.
“I’ve spoken to a lot of hairdressers who’ve been ‘meaning to send collections’ and get too busy to do so, but now is the time to act,” said Hair Shots 2 The World director, Leanne Cutler. “We set a closing date for global releases each year for resource efficiency as well as supply the 2025 collections to media so that they can work with them over the Northern Winter.”
Hairdressers who push these editorial pathways can see the rapid ascension of their profile with international opportunities.

“I’ve seen a vast amount of change throughout the 15 years of Hair Shots 2 The World, but the benefits remain the same; to receive exposure to product companies, build an impressive portfolio, build your brand and following. Of course, this depends on business and career goals too,” Leanne said. “The good hairdressing media outlets have rebuilt to nearly ‘normal’ levels since the lull caused by COVID. They have now embraced digital formats and social media in their offerings which provides further influence through great images.”
Hair Shots 2 The World achieved 20 international covers for clients in the first nine months of 2025, with the hope for more through the end of the year.
“This is a great result so far and I expect more by the end of the year,” Leanne said. “Editors are still selecting their favourite images from collections so working towards six equally strong images is a must to create maximum impact. Hairdressers and barbers who aim for covers must do two things to make this happen. First, get the photographer on board to shoot for cover and, two, incorporate cover requirements in the shoot brief.”
