INSTYLE and Styleicons have been powered forward by our Editor Cameron Pine for the best part of the last 18 years, alongside our National Sales Director Jo Cowan, who celebrates 20 years with the title in July. With the launch of Hair Festival taking place in June, it’s time to recognise the key creative impact Cameron brings across our various touchpoints and the expansion of his remit in recent times as the title has continued to grow.
As of 9th March 2021, Cameron becomes Creative and Editorial Director. Responsible for all creative output across INSTYLE, Styleicons and Hair Festival, Cameron will continue to innovate our creative and branded content, bringing editorial solutions to the full range of partners and advertisers we work with. In an extension of his remit, Cameron will also bring his creative eye to develop and enhance our creative offering on BHA’s sister titles, Professional Beauty and SPA+CLINIC as well as future special projects. Cameron will continue to contribute widely within INSTYLE and Styleicons and will continue to represent the title throughout the hairdressing industry.
In recognition of the pivotal role our Deputy Editor Shannon Gaitz holds across INSTYLE’s print, digital and social offering, Shannon steps up to become Editor effective immediately. Shannon has been key in growing the digital and print offering over the last seven years as Online Editor. Shannon becomes responsible for the magazine’s timely publication and becomes the key contact internally with our design and production teams. She will continue to contribute across our various touchpoints and will enable Cameron’s editorial vision through new features, strands and content approaches.
Lastly, the title is now recruiting a replacement Beauty Editor & Journalist for the incumbent Sarah Mourtos, who leaves the title after two years on 23rd March 2021.
