Created for the busy woman who wants to have all of her beauty needs met in one place, the latest one-stop-shop for beauty has arrived – the Jet Set Go Express Beauty Bar, writes Shannon Gaitz.

Founded by Charmilla Herath in 2009, the Jet Set Go Express Beauty Bar, situated in Sydney’s CBD, blurs the boundaries between beauty, customers, and charities and the salon itself are reaping the rewards.

Their unique Membership Program allows customers to have unlimited access to certain treatments for a monthly fee. The services fall into two categories, Grooming, which includes services such as threading and tinting for face and brows, and Glamour, which includes manicures, lash extensions, make-overs and hair services.

As well as providing customers with many beauty needs, the company is releasing its own magazine Beauty Jetsetter, incorporating fashion into an already extensive list of specialties.

The company is ethically minded in its product sourcing and profit distribution, with much of their income heading to local and international charities, such as Women4Action, which utilises fashion as a vehicle for change.

By merging so many aspects of beauty, fashion and social causes, the company is exploring the new way that we approach business in the world of beauty and hair. With so much success already, it’s the first step towards creating a bona fide beauty empire.
