Simple, modern, luxurious and masculine – these are words you could use to describe both the new Kérastase Densifique Homme products, and the culinary setting in which they were launched. The brand unveiled the revolutionary new products at the high-class Automata restaurant in Sydney, presenting the products to media in a luxury setting indicative of the brand.
With a masculine table setting in the same silver and black of the products’ packaging, the event captured the essence of the sophisticated, no-fuss products, ideal for the modern man. Kérastase Paris General Manager Sandra Kelly and National Marketing Manager Alexandra Shadbolt spoke to the media about the innovative new technology, before guests enjoyed a five-course meal and French wines. The products are aimed to combat hair thinning in men, with a three month program that has had results of 80 per cent denser hair in 2 out of 3 responders.
The program builds on technology launched in 2013 with the Densifique Density Activator, which was based on active ingredient Stemoxydine® to awaken dormant hair follicles and revive the hair. Densifique Homme translates this technology in a program specifically designed for men, and their particular needs in regards to hair thinning.
Densifique Homme utilises formulations that include glycans, which are present in actual hair follicles, and define the strength of hair, to replace the naturally diminishing glycans in thinning hair. These glycans have now been merged with Stemoxydine® in the new formula, creating a unique combination that can reveal up to 1700 new hairs within the first three months of use.
The program is made up of a daily at-home cure program, to be applied each morning, and a thickening shampoo aimed to improve hair that is losing its density.
