La Biosthetique Expands to WA

Western Australia will become the latest benefactors of the La Biosthetique effect, with the brand now planning to target the burgeoning salon market in Perth. The operation will be headed by Marmi Poland, the brand’s newly named Development Manager of WA, a Perth native herself who comes with a decade of experience in the professional hair and beauty industry.

“The boutique salon sector in WA is growing at a rapid pace and with it, the need for high end bespoke services,” La Biosthetique CEO Rob Aubin explained. “In the wake of strong economic growth, salons have moved from strength to strength. However, this has brought about competition amongst them and the need for salons to have a point of difference is more than ever”.

Poland is perfectly placed to deal with the salon industry, having started her career as a hairdresser and salon manager before managing the accounts of a national European hair care brand, with a position based in Victoria. This new professional move brings about a sense of coming home in more ways than one, with Poland demonstrating both her understanding of WA and affinity for the salon world. She will start by identifying potential Perth salons that fit the luxury service model pivotal to La Biosthetique.

“Full concept hair, skin, and make up products packaged with signature European service rituals and treatments are the unique offering La Biosthetique plans to give,” she said. “This will be the first Parisian flavoured concept of its kind to come to WA.”
