La Biosthetique held an elegant trend party at Sydney’s chic Slide Bar in Darlinghurst on August 31st, in one of their biannual Australian trend launches. An eclectic mix of creativity, celebration and networking opportunities was enjoyed amidst drinks and canapés, while guests were treated to the latest makeup and hair trends straight from Paris.
The Australian F.A.M.E. Team present on stage
The night opened with special guest artists the Australian F.A.M.E. Team, who showed off the new La Biosthetique trend titled Elegant Punk in a dynamic runway performance. The group worked with the brand’s fashion colours such as steel grey and muted purple hues, as well as creating edgy blunt cuts.

This presentation was followed by a show conducted by the La Biosthetique artistic team, Equipe Atistique, comprised of Gess Mazis of La Bimbi Salon and Spa Group, Maria Ardino from Ardino Salon, Rachel Espley of Therapy Hair and Make up and One Room’s Daniel Mclennan. The team showed off five models dressed by designer Dylan Cooper and sporting elegant hair looks with wave and texture in the brand’s pastel shades. The makeup was drawn from the Parisian Spring Collection, showcasing strong metallic eye shadow with muted peach lips, as has been the trend this season.

“The night was a great success because we were able to combine our La Biosthetique Equipe Artistique presentation with F.A.M.E. and show new talent as well as our own creative team,” said MC and Creative Manager of La Biosthetique, Alexander Fuchs. “One of the highlights of the night was that we were able to combine the latest trends in hair both in design and colour, alongside makeup. It really celebrated the total culture of total beauty while still being edgy and fashion-forward.”

La Biosthetique presents these trend showcases twice a year, teasing the Parisian trends to come for the season in parties in Sydney and Melbourne in order to treat the brand’s network of salons to a night of French Glamour. By rolling out the red carpet and making this evening a night of both celebration and inspiration, La Biosthetique welcomed Spring in the best possible way.
