This collection’s English ties are in more than just its aesthetic. Styled and coloured by Scott Sloan and Jordan Hone respectively, the collection was cast in Covent Garden, shot in Shoreditch and made to capture the mood of Chelsea’s Kings Road. How much more London can you get?
Scott’s signature precision cutting makes an appearance – crafted with 60s-style geometric angles and a strong framing of the face, with a sharp and defined finish. This is contrasted with Jordan’s natural colour palette. Ice blondes, deep brunettes, violet undertones and more soften undercuts, overt sectioning and defined, irregular shapes. A high shine technique then creates an overarching sense of opulence.
1960s fashion elements shine through, in high polo-style necklines, tailored collars and luxurious fabric choices in the vein of a Cavanagh suit, with a muted colour palette and neutral beauty looks to complement the enthralling hair styling.
Evoking the worldly, sophisticated essence of London, this Sloans collection is the next best thing to a plane ticket. See all the images below.
