To be held at Guilfoyle’s Volcano in Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens tonight, Thursday 30th January 2014, the Royal Botanical Runway event will celebrate Australian fashion and arts, as well as raise funds to go towards a $3.5 million drought-proof plan to protect the gardens.

L’Oréal Professionnel, Shu Uemura Art of Hair, Redken 5th Avenue NYC and Matrix will each have their styling teams backstage at The Royal Botanical Runway show to create fashion-forward hair looks for each designer.
Featuring some of the best creative talent in the Australian hair industry, Jamie Furlan (Xiang Hair, VIC) for L’Oréal Professionnel, Stavros Tavrou (Rakis on Collins, VIC) for Shu Uemura Art of Hair, Mark Thompson for Redken 5th Avenue NYC and Andrea De Deugd for Matrix will form the expert team of hair directors leading the teams and the creation of the four hair looks backstage.

With L’Oréal Professionnel working with Aurelio Costarella, Shu Uemura Art of Hair with Akira Isogawa, Redken with Collette Dinnigan and Matrix with Martin Grant, each brand will collaborate with the designer to create a hair look to compliment the aesthetics of the designs.
