The final chapter has been written in the series of L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy 2018 semi-finals, with New South Wales and Canberra deciding the last finalists going through to the competition’s grand finale in February.
Hosted at L’Oréal’s all-new Sydney Academy, the esteemed 25 finalists created their looks live for an exceptional runway show. Damien Rinaldo was in attendance in his usual role as judge, while also showcasing some looks he recently created overseas at the L’Oréal Professionnel Business Forum.
Congratulations to those who progressed – Scott Sloan of Sloans of Lane Cove for his copper bob, Claudio Cataldo from Cataldo’s Salon for a futuristic silver-blue pixie cut, Idy Duong, also of Sloans of Lane Cove, for her soft blonde, rosy hue with lowlights, and rising star Michael Cataldo, also of Cataldo’s Salon for a platinum blonde crop with blue and purple features.
Those 4 finalists join finalists from the rest of the country in the next stage. Well done to Courtney Treyvaud and Lyndal Salmon of Biba Academy, Danni Solier of Xiang Hair, Jaki Dimasi of Ruby Hair Design, Wendy Gunn of Ink for Hair, Elyse Sprott and Alyse March of Rixon Hair, Deeann Watt of Watt Style, Imogen Starr from Circles of Subiaco, Nick Mammoliti and Damien Kabay of Hemisphere Hair, Melissa Gesualdo of Reno’s On St Quentin, Massimo Tirimacco of ZoHair, Joe Cotroneo from Zink The Element of Hair and Diana Carnevale, also of Zink the Element of Hair, for progressing in the former rounds for VIC, SA/TAS, WA and QLD.
