L’Oréal Professionnel have announced the appointment of Katrina Brieschke as the new Education and Advocacy Manager for the brand. Katrina brings over 20 years of industry experience to the role, from starting in hair at the age of 15 in Queensland. Her career has spanned salon management, educating in Canada and beyond.
Katrina’s experience with L’Oréal Professionnel has covered diverse roles for ten years across both in-field education and in the head office. She will now extend in this new role to innovate education initiatives for hairdressers, salon owners and the national brand community.

“My career path feels like it’s come full circle, and in the best way possible,” Katrina shared. “My L’Oréal story started as an educator – a role that truly ignited my passion for sharing knowledge and empowering others. From there, I dove into the world of content and social media, learning how to connect and communicate in new and exciting ways. Now, I’m absolutely thrilled to be leading the Education and Advocacy team for L’Oréal Professionnel. It feels like everything I’ve done has led me to this point.”
Katrina’s work and education showcases the weight and importance of hairdressing, something that she imparts to her students.
