Utilising her skills for an important pursuit, Lorna Evans styled Runway For A Cause in order to raise funds to fight against Breast Cancer. The event was held at the Morning Star Estate in Mount Eliza, organised by pageant queen Jessica Martini.

Lorna Evans styled Runway for a Cause

The runway event showed off fashion by designers from the local Mornington area, that ranged from sleep wear, to swim wear, day wear and evening wear. Evans complemented all these designs with elegant up styles in soft curls and waves. Both salon friendly and editorially beautiful, the looks were inspired by the latest Dolce and Gabbana runway show.

Evans used Moroccanoil products, using gel to texturise the hair before sectioning and teasing it with a soft brush. The sections were then pinned into place and held with Moroccanoil hair spray, before using a damp sponge to skim the top of the hair in order to create a natural, flyaway finish. The result was a look that was both soft and feminine, whilst still being voluminous and eye-catching.

All designs were by local Mornington designers

Floral embellishments, feathers, hats and veils were all used as additional detail, making the hair an important accessory to the local designs. The styling allowed the models to look natural, in detailed up styles that complemented looks that were both casual and fancy. The charitable nature of the event made the occasion all the more special.
