The collection was created by eleven of the world’s most celebrated stylists who form the global MATRIX Artist Collective. The collection is a tribute to the material for which it is named, and the stigma of an ever-evolving, iconic and beloved fashion statement that it evokes.

The hair collection is comprised of experimental colours, textures and detailed accents. Crimped hair styles, pops of vibrant colour and strategically placed braids, paired with bold eye shadow and denim in all its forms, made the collection part retro 80s, whilst also being on-trend with its own contemporary twists. The demonstration of the collection at Hairworld taught the attendees creative techniques with a clear editorial perspective that could still be a hit in the salon.
Mikic is a renowned salon and session styling noted for his ability to forecast trends and hone in on an international aesthetic he’s built through a career that’s travelled from Slovenia to Italy, the UK, New Zealand and now Australia.
