It’s the men’s grooming emporium making waves around the country as the haven of national men’s hair care products – and the spaces are a practical lesson in just how to sell products (especially to men). Meet the line of men’s grooming stores Men’s Biz, which sell tailored lines of male grooming and beauty tools and product ranges, hand-picked from around the world and sold through their flagship stores.

What started solely as an online store more than ten years ago has grown for the brand into two flagship boutiques in Melbourne and Sydney, both of which offer esteemed vintage barber services such as haircuts, beard and moustache trims and hot towel shaves, making the retailers slashie salons too.

Beyond the chair, the stores offer prestigious grooming brands, with products including luxury shaving creams and brushes, premium skincare, high-profile double edge razors and even manicure tools. The concept was developed by Nathan Jancauskas, who aimed to create a niche men’s retailer based on the countless spaces that offer these grooming facets to women.

The stores offer retailing innovations that could make a difference in your salon – such as iPads so consumers can access product information and reviews, as well as testing sinks specifically so customers can try out the products. Each franchise is designed with an old-school vibe, with marble and wooden finishes providing an element of luxury. Continuously bringing in new ranges, the retailer continues to redefine how we cater to our clients – and approach the rapidly rising market of men’s grooming. Something to aspire to.
