URBANA will be the centre of milk_shake®’s Hair Festival 2025 offering, with the new collection educated and showcased in the Education Sessions. The collection is described as “joyful, free and wandering”, with glossy textures, vivid and bright colours and soft and elegant haircuts comprising the collection.
Inspired by film and literature, the collection is a multi-lingual, globe-trotting and confident editorial offering, with characters such as Marit, Nola, Pien, Charlotte, Sarah, Margarita, Marina, Jerry and Nina. Each of these colour looks showcase various harmonious, blended colour shades, coppers and pinks, new colour blocking methods in pastel hues, lilacs and smoky lavenders, face-framing toning, natural lightening in small and sometimes asymmetrical blocks, merged cold and warm customisable blonde shades and neutral blondes. Styles and cuts cover contemporary medium bobs and lobs, movement without visible layering, a hero combination of a bowl cut, a pixie and a bob, tailored curls, 70s inspired cuts created with thinning scissors, a razor and blunt cut techniques, fringe elements and more.
Educators from the milk_shake® Global Education Team will launch and teach this collection at Hair Festival. The award-winning boasts editorial, Fashion Week and global education expertise, as comprised of session wizard Andrew Smith from the UK, cut, style and colour innovator Gianluca Grechi from Italy, barbering expert Luca Malnati and global educator Sabrina Nicolazzo.
The collection was created with the all-new Lifestyling Styling range, which will be nationally launched at the event. Made to style, define and hold with new, optimised formulas, this versatile collection is built on four separate product categories for all things style and finish.
Body & Volume is the first product category, with five products that texturise, strengthen the hair and prolong style, with tools such as Powder Pop, Medium Hold Gel, Liquid Styler, Volumizing Foam and Dry Shampoo for instantly lifted roots, definition, structure, control flexible hold, dimension and a refreshed look.
Texture & Shape products, such as the range’s Texturizing Spritz, Freehand Paste, Glossy Wax, Texturising Cream and Shaping Cream, boost density, flexible texture, light modelling, body, protection, longevity and structure.
The Hold & Fixing category finishes and maintains shape and style. A Sculpting Cream, Fixing Paste, Strong Hold Hairspray, Medium Hold Hairspray and Eco Strong Hairspray, which is a non-aerosol option, ensure volume, structure, detail definition and versatile medium to long-lasting hold as necessary. The Eco Strong Hairspray has a unique delivery system that’s ideal for precision styling.
Finally, the Smooth & Thermo group protects and treats hair from the heat. A Smoothing Cream, Blow Dry Primer, Thermo Protector and Let It Shine each finish the hair with smoothness, natural hold, shine and gloss, while protecting the hair from heat styling in a non-aerosol mousse or spray formula as necessary.
All formulas in the range are created with a blend of naturally-derived active ingredients, including milk proteins, quinoa proteins and Integrity 41®, which is made with sunflower seed extract and rich in antioxidant polyphenols.
