Leading Australian brand, muk Haircare, is proud to announce a new partnership with the Avner Nahmani Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. As of March 1st 2014, fifty cents from the sale of Blonde muk Toning Shampoo and Treatment products will go to the foundation, raising much needed funds, writes Ruth Cooper.
“Pancreatic cancer has affected us personally on two occasions so this initiative is very close to our hearts,” says Mark Gariglio, Director of muk. “We’re excited to contribute to the foundation’s vision of doubling the number of people who survive pancreatic cancer by 2020.”
To inform consumers, each Blonde muk Toning product will be labelled with a sticker, and participating salons will receive collateral to promote the initiative.
Director and Co-Founder of the foundation, Caroline Kelly, is excited about the partnership. “We are delighted to have muk support Avner’s Foundation and draw awareness to pancreatic cancer,” she says.
The Avner Nahmani Foundation has a vision of doubling the number of pancreatic cancer survivors by 2020. All funds raised go to supporting research and building awareness of pancreatic cancer, Australia’s deadliest cancer.
A worthy cause indeed.
