Caterina DiBiase has drawn from two of history’s most contrasting powerful women to create a collection that emanates both elegance and sex appeal. Taking her inspiration for the Noveau Chic collection from the regal Grace Kelly and sex symbol Bridgette Bardot, these juxtaposing aesthetics reinvent classic in a modern way.

As well as capturing these famous women’s powerful aura, the collection shows off their stylistic details. Grace Kelly had a penchant for plaits, statement hair buns and pulled back styles, later moving to more sculptural and structured styles. Brigitte Bardot was famous for her glamorous bombshell look, often wearing high crowns and pony tails, whilst sporting big proportions and huge volume. These features are portrayed in the collection through braided crowns, voluminous looks, intricate attention to detail and polished, structured styles.

Shot timelessly in black and white, the collection plays with an undone retro vibe that covers both sophistication and sensuality. Showcasing both the playfulness and grace of the 50s and 60s, as well as the undone styles of the 70s, the collection evokes the powerful and alluring women of yesteryear, whilst still remaining undeniably modern.
