O&M honoured creativity all in one spot, bringing together some of Australia’s most talented colourists for one huge weekend of education, creativity and wellness in the 2025 CØR.Creator Retreat.
“Bringing together our CØR.creators is always a great start to the year,” shared Jose Bryce Smith, O&M Founder. “We are always growing and learning together, so, to have so many talented creators in one room sharing their knowledge, giving feedback, and lifting each other up, it’s a privilege and a wonderful community to be part of. This retreat reminds me why I love the hairdressing industry and why O&M was born.”
The event was hosted at the Swell Byron Bay and treated guests to ice baths, yoga, and expert-led sessions on dynamic topics such as burnout and TikTok growth, as well as giving news on O&M’s latest product innovations. The event provided an immersive and versatile approach to business elevation and personal growth.
The retreat flew in guests from all over the country to connect, recharge, be inspired and elevate their craft. Led by Jose, other big names included leading hairdressers such as Jaye Edwards, Dane Wakefield, Kirsty Anne Sage, Amelia Jane, Charlie Gauci, Sheridan Rose Shaw, Daniel Jianing Liu, Travis Bandiera, Jordan Doroschuk, Bec Wyatt and more
“2025 is going to be a big year for O&M, and we aligned our goals and focused on upskilling in all areas, giving our creators the tools to grow their businesses beyond the chair,” Jose said. “We had guest speakers from TikTok sharing insights on how to level up your salon and personal brand, and an empowering session with psychologist Catherine Devine on managing burnout.”
“As always, there was lots of laughing, lots of growth, and some moving moments. Hairdressing is such a giving profession—our aim is to elevate, and when we support each other and nurture our own health, we create our best work—and that’s what O&M is all about.”
