O&M’s premier education event, titled Made for Originals, is coming back for its third annual iteration, taking over the White Bay Passenger Terminal in Sydney on August 17 of this year. The event has garnered a reputation for its festival vibe, inspiring colours and premium talent on stage in a unique, fun approach to education.
“Made For Originals is back for its third year, and we’re taking it up a notch, continuing our celebration of creativity, innovation, and education in the hair industry,” shared O&M CVO and Founder, Jose Bryce Smith. “It’s all happening on August 17, and I can’t wait to see our community come together again.”
You can expect a special business education session with Kim Haberley, which will cover real conversations into scaling multiple brands with intention, while one of the brand’s newest CØR.creators, Lee Quinn will bring her international expertise to the stage. Other big name national and international presenters will include Kirsty Anne, Jaye Edwards, Amelia Jane, Kindale Godbee and Emily Mander, with more to be announced soon.
Taking place from 10am to 5pm, the event will kick off with an introduction from Jose, before versatile live shows at a variety of stages. Kirsty Anne back will be back as main stage host and Dane Wakefield and Grace Kelly will act as afternoon hosts.
Sessions will include Sculpting Tones with Lee, Beyond The Chair with Kim, Flawless Colour Correction thanks to Jaye, Iconic Blondes with Amelia Jane, Golden Sun Kissed Brondes with Emily and The Art of Texture with Kindale. Topics will also cover how to go viral on social media, business building techniques and more, all culminating in a panel discussion with the artists.
The brand will also give away $20,000 worth of prizes and gift bags thanks to the event sponsors in O&M’s biggest ever giveaway opportunities. Experience activations and networking experiences as well in the festival-style event. After the education event, the day will move to the MFO After Dark after party at a yet undisclosed location.
