Ozdare Sells Distribution Rights for Two Major Brands

The look of Ozdare’s brand portfolio will be drastically different this year, with the Aussie distribution company selling two of its major brands back to Revlon. As of March 2nd, Revlon is nationally distributing male styling brand American Crew and global haircare brand Revlon Professional through its Australasian Headquarters in Sydney.

“Revlon’s commitment to the growth of their brands in the professional industry made us at Ozdare realise that the support of a major multinational company could offer both our staff and clients something that was truly exciting,” said Ozdare Corporation Founder Peter McDonald. “We felt their vision matched ours in passion, but they had far greater resources to make these dreams come true. Ultimately, it was important that our staff and clients felt as little change as possible with the buy-back of these distribution rights.”

The transition has been built to be as seamless as possible. Matthew Kilty, formerly the National Business Development Manager for Ozdare, has been appointed as the new General Manager for Revlon Professional and American Crew in Australia. Additionally, Revlon will continue to use the innovative new Ozdare Academy for brand education.

“Ozdare and Revlon have a long-standing relationship,” said Matthew. “We share the same values and the desire to make the changeover as easy as possible.”

Revlon will distribute these two brands amongst their international portfolio of cosmetics, hair colour, haircare, beauty tools, fragrances, skincare, and other beauty care products for both consumers and the professional industry. Meanwhile Ozdare will continue to manufacture and distribute their other leading brands, KEVIN.MURPHY, ELEVEN Australia, Cezzanne kertain straightening systems and Ecoheads basin showerheads, to the professional market.
