The Australian Hairdressing Council (AHC), which is a cornerstone of the Australian hair industry, will have a major presence at Hair Festival 2021, and we’re previewing where you can find the organisation at the event. Hair Festival is taking place over June 13 and 14 at Carriageworks, Sydney, and we can’t wait to see you there!
The AHC will have a presence in the MarketPlace, which is entirely free to enter and register for. AHC CEO Sandy Chong will also contribute her insights to the Real Talk business education event on Sunday June 13, with a program at midday titled ‘The Great Divide’.
Importantly, on Sunday night the AHC will partner with Hair Festival to host their annual and eagerly anticipated Schmoozefest event. This event offers tickets to AHC members and salons only, creating a powerful networking event for like-minded salon owners and business focused industry members. This event will end with the reveal for Hair Festival Wonderland, which is open to anyone in the industry, and looms as an inimitable networking opportunity. With drinks, food and entertainment, the industry will finally have the chance to party together.
“We haven’t seen each other for so long and everything’s been on Zoom, so I think everyone is going to be do excited to just see everyone in the flesh again and see some great education up on stage and just be involved,” Sandy said in a conversation with INSTYLE Creative and Editorial Director Cameron Pine. “It’s all about inviting everyone that is in our industry to come to Hair Festival because I think that’s going to be the place to be in June.”
Tickets are still available at their first release prices, a price point that ends this Monday on May 3. Don’t miss out on your tickets to Hair Festival Wonderland, Real Talk or the education rooms, or save with an All-Events Pass that gives you access to it all.
“I think the price point is really great because if you’re a salon owner there’s so much to do and see but if you’re a first year apprentice then definitely come to Hair Festival as well. If you’re a student doing a Cert II or Cert III or just interested in hairdressing, or even if you’re a member of the public who is just thinking about hairdressing as a career of choice, then definitely come to Hair Festival,” Sandy said.
There’s so much to do at Hair Festival 2021. Find out everything you need to know here and then register now!
“Hopefully I’ll see everyone there, I hope everyone comes and says hello at Real Talk, Schmoozefest and in the MarketPlace,” Sandy said.
