If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Such is the link between Redken and Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival Sydney (MBFFSydney), the partnership of which will now enter is 8th straight year. Heading backstage from September 24 to 26, Redken will be very much on board as Sydney’s Town Hall is transformed into a fashion epicentre for the city’s leading consumer fashion runway event.
With leading Australian designers, including Alice McCall, Bec & Bridge, Christopher Esber, Dion Lee and Zhivago, sending models down the catwalk, there is plenty in store across the three day event. Three ready to wear shows, categorised as Australian Luxe, Ready-To-Wear Runway and Red Carpet Runway, will show these designers, and this season’s trending hair looks, in full force.
The backstage team will consist of 60 stylists, led by Hair Directors Paloma Rose Garcia of Oscar Oscar Salons, Kristy Hodgson of Jarahs Hair and Ros Thomas of BellaMia. The brand will also host a dynamic area dedicated to Redken styling products, titled the Redken Hub. Attendees will be able to sample the newest products, polish their look at the Redken Style Bar and then be photographed. They will also have the chance to win front row tickets to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia in 2016 via a new Instagram competition.
With model and event ambassador Coco Rocha and a list of other high profile guests on stage and sitting front row, later this month Town Hall will be the ultimate fashion destination. This 8-year long partnership continues to produce a winning formula.
