On Tuesday 19th November 2013, Dress for Success Sydney (DFSS) held their annual Christmas cocktail event at GHD on Castlereagh Street in Sydney to celebrate the winners of The Australasian College Broadway’s three scholarships to study hair, beauty and makeup.
The Australasian College Broadway Scholarship recipients Keirra Lee Dobbie and Mereana Gage
Three lucky winners were awarded scholarships valued at more than $30,000 each to springboard their careers – an opportunity they would not have received without the help of Dress for Success Sydney and the Australasian College Broadway.
The College has partnered with DFSS to enhance the lives of women in Sydney by enabling them to access industry qualifications in these outline fields.
Two of the recipients were Kiera Lee Dobbie and Mereana Gage who aspire to be stylists to the stars and thanks to this scholarship, are now a step closer to achieving their goals.
The guest speaker for the evening was Nahji Chu – Founder and Creative Director of Miss Chu (Queen of Rice Paper Rolls) – who also provided the delicious catering for the event.
