Second Kings Domain Barbershop Launches

Situated on Melbourne’s very trendy Collins Street, the second Kings Domain barbershop has launched in spectacular fashion. The opening last Thursday saw barber chairs placed in the middle of Collins St, where AFL stars Josh Gibson and Jimmy Bartel were styled in front of media and an enthralled crowd. The message was clear – Kings Domain has arrived, and judging by the traffic delays, the CBD took notice.

The second salon follows on from the franchise’s successful Toorak Road location. Directors Joey Scandizzo, Joseph Semaan, John Scandizzo and Aaron Chan opted to take this success to the buzzing CBD, joining forces with talented barber Angela Sassano.

“When the guys asked me to come on board and bring Kings Domain to the discerning men of Melbourne’s CBD, I had no hesitation,” Angela shared. “I’m excited that we’ve been able to recreate the vibe and atmosphere that the brand is already known for. The concept behind Kings Domain is for men to experience salon quality cuts of any style in an environment where they feel 100% comfortable. A good haircut is vital, but a good experience is paramount.”

The barbershop has a conceptual, rural aesthetic of an old London barbershop, imbued with elements inspired by America’s North West Rustic cabins – a transformative environment placed right in the centre of the city.

It stocks a selection of quality men’s grooming products such as shampoo, shaving cream and styling products from leading brands ELEVEN Australia and American Crew. Services range from beard trims, to superior cuts, straight razor shaves and hero service the ‘Royal Treatment’ haircut and shave.

“Our aim is to ensure that every client who enters Kings Domain receives a personally tailored styling experience that goes one step beyond hair,” said Joey. “It’s an old school gentleman’s escape for today’s modern man.”

Kings Domain Collins Street is located at Shop 1/12 Collins St Melbourne 3000.
