Hair Care by esmi has officially launched and, to celebrate the momentous occasion, the brand and founder Evette Hess-McEwan hosted media and influencers for a bespoke hair wash and style session at EdwardsAndCo Kippax Street.
The celebration took place on Monday 1st August 2022 to launch the Hair Care by esmi launch, esmi Skin minerals. Guests were able to choose and experience an array of five different shampoos and conditioners from the collection targeting hair concerns including hydration, dryness, dullness, oily hair or strengthening.
Attendees spoke with their EdwardsAndCo stylists about their hair concerns and type. Once their perfect esmi mix of shampoo and conditioner was chosen they were whisked away to the basins for a scalp massage and cleanse with scents such as caramel, peppermint, green tea and more.
Post stylings guests also enjoyed 30-minute manicures from The Nail Ologist pop up on location where they could choose fun nail art designs such as lemons, hearts and flowers.
For those unfamiliar with the brand, esmi is Sephora’s number one skincare brand, which has now entered the hair care space. The brand launched this Hair Care collection that is specifically formulated to treat your scalp microbiome. On top of this, the range is vegan, cruelty free, paragon and sulphate free and the packaging is one hundred per cent recyclable.
esmi hair care is a point of difference because of their unique Biome Blends containing probiotic lysates that boost the good bacteria to target specific concerns. With the synergy between hair and skin in mind, the esmi range of shampoos and conditioners have been expertly formulated with ingredients that are clean, conscious and commonly known to benefit the skin, scalp and hair.
The formulations support the pH levels of the scalp and won’t strip it of any natural oils. The range also won’t lather as much as other shampoos and conditioners, thanks to a sulphate-free formula.
Haircare by esmi is rich in ingredients for thicker hair, as they balance the microbiome, strengthen the follicles and prevent hair loss. The range prevents breakage from the root, hydrates and moisturises the strands, and gives your hair a gorgeous, healthy shine.
Skin doesn’t stop at the hairline. Just like the skin, the scalp is a microbiome with good and bad bacteria that help the immune system, digestion and, importantly, skin health. A balanced microbiome promotes collagen and ceramide production, repairs UV damage and can prevent skin conditions like acne, eczema and dandruff. Factors like heat styling, stripping ingredients, hormones or diet can lead to a damaged microbiome and hair concerns. This new hair launch proves the perfect complement to the esmi skin care and skin vitamins range.
