Unmissable hair education will take to Hair Festival 2024 as hair legends Sharon Blain and Bernadette Beswick team up for Mane Masters, presented by ELEVEN Australia. These two icons in Australian hair will teach latest trends in cut, colour, and style in a VIP setting that promises a unique, immersive experience.
Taking place on July 1 at Sydney’s ICC, this education opportunity will include Bernadette’s winning formula to selling retail without feeling pushy, teaching hairdressers to speak with confidence and expertise to seek out your salon as a retail haven, while also teaching editorial know-how from the two of the absolute best in the business.
Sharon was recently crowned the title of Hair Legend of the Year at the 2024 International Hairdressing Awards in Portugal, a testament to over five decades spent in global hairdressing, session work and education. She is renowned for her workshops, seminars, online platforms, and her highly acclaimed boot camps, which instruct in her long hair expertise, from bridal and celebrity red carpet hairstyling to editorial and Avant Garde hairdressing.

Her mantle includes titles such as Hair Expo Australia’s Educator of the Year, which she has won a historic five times, and being named as the Hair Expo Hall of Fame winner twice. Internationally she’s been recognised at the International AIPP Awards in creative pursuits and at the Global Salon Business Awards for her impact as a business owner. She was also awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) by the Governor-General in 2022 for her service to hairdressing.
Sharon has developed a range of online and offline educational resources in her prolific career and her education courses both digitally in person are sought after and ever-booked globally. Her online resources, including her highly acclaimed Boot Camp workshop, over 180 tutorials translated into seven subtitle languages, four books, DVDs, and hair padding, are used extensively as training tools for colleges and academies worldwide.
Bernadette is a current finalist for the 2024 Australian Hairdresser of the Year title, known for her innovative and dynamic education approach. She boasts over 38 years of hair industry experience, with ten years of experience in education, where she founded Beswick Education Services (BES) in 2017, which offers bold workshops that empower salon professionals to achieve excellence. To date, she has led over 570 workshops, educating more than 20,000 individuals.



Bernadette has won awards such as AHIA Victorian Hairdresser of the Year in 2022 and 2023, and is renowned for her precision in both classic and creative cutting techniques, her engaging teaching style and ability to connect and communicate with students. Her work has been featured in over 200 publications and 10 cover features in the last three years, she had educated globally, across America, Taiwan, New Zealand and Australia and she has represented brands on stage such as ghd and Hairjamm.
