Sloans is celebrating its 25-year anniversary and, to honour the milestone, the salon hosted 25 competition winners at a VIP Blow-dries and Bubbles event on May 24. 16 members of the Sloans team treated 25 winning mums to a deluxe blow-dry and pamper session.
Led by salon director and owner Scott Sloans, Sloans is an institution from its flagship Lane Cove location and larger influence across Sydney’s North Shore. This competition gave back to that community through the local North Shore Mums online group.

“Our success over the past quarter century has only been possible because of the incredible support of our local community,” Scott said. “This is my way of saying thank you. Lane Cove is more than just where we work, it’s home. With close to 1,000 entries received, giving these mums something special is the least we could do to celebrate such an amazing journey.”
The salon has won titles extending from the AHIA NSW/ACT Salon of the Year 2024 to the AHIA Creative Team of the Year 2023 and AHFA Salon of the Year 2023 and continues to invest in meaningful community engagement. The team is committed to making clients feel their best and conducting important activations.

The space was especially decorated in honour of the event, and the winners were treated to champagne, food and gift bags filled with L’Oréal Professionnel and Kérastase products, as well as receiving a gift voucher to return for a full VIP Hair Makeover in the coming weeks.
“Scott’s love for this community is contagious and being part of this special event alongside him meant a lot to us all,” shared Kate Wrona, Senior Stylist. “We wanted these mums to feel as amazing as they truly are and hair has the power to do that. I think we enjoyed it as much as they did!”
