Sloans salon is celebrating 25 years as a celebrated hair fashion hub, since being established in 2000 by industry leader Scott Sloan. Emerging in its Lane Cove location and since upgrading those premises and expanding to other North Shore locales since, the flagship space is a renowned epicentre of luxury hair.
“What an incredible journey the past 25 years have been for myself and the Sloans team,” Scott shared. “From seeing our work featured in editorial shoots and campaigns, to creating award-winning photographic collections and championing education within the industry, every moment has been fuelled by passion and purpose. Above all, it’s been the day-to-day connections with our amazing clients that truly defines Sloans. I’m so grateful to our team, our peers, and the wider industry for the ongoing support and inspiration. Here’s to the next 25 years- we’re just getting started.”
Scott is a regular backstage presence with Guido Paolo and Sam McKnight at London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks for Fendi, Prada, Chanel, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Valentino, Versace, Miu Miu and The Row, and his editorial and commercial looks have graced editorial publications including Beauty Crew, Body+Soul, Daily Telegraph, marie claire, INSTYLE and more. He is also an educator for L’Oréal Professionnel and has educated in week-long seminars and workshops across Kuala Lumpur, Vietnam, Singapore, Dubai and India, educating for audiences of over 2,000 participants.
With awards including AHIA NSW/ACT Salon of the Year for 2024, AHIA Creative Team of the Year in 2023 and AHFA Salon of the Year in 2023, the Sloans team offers diverse, trending styles in salon. Scott has mentored the team editorially and their work has featured in local media as well as fashion publications including Men In This Town, Fen Hong Se, Doing Bird and Schon! Magazine. The team have worked backstage at Melbourne, Milan and other global Fashion Weeks and have assisted in shoots, workshops and campaigns.
The 25-year celebration includes the launch of a new website and a competition that will offer North Shores mothers a hair makeover and pamper opportunity.
