You wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere other than Madrid last week when the 6th annual Spanish Hairdressing Awards were hosted. Models were paraded and winners were announced in the calendar highlight, sponsored by Revlon Professional and launched by Club Figaro.
The biggest event in the Spanish hairdressing calendar began with a Hollywood style red carpet before guests took their seats for a scintillating show. The fifteen nominees presented their finalist collections in a remarkable runway show, enthralling the crowd with creative, technically ambitious and striking looks.
After the show, the winners were presented by the evening’s hosts, Felicitas Ordás, Spanish Hairdresser of the Year 2014, and Miquel Garcia, Revlon Professional’s Global Creative Director. The esteemed judging panel (referred to in the event as a ‘jury’) was comprised of five international talents in the global hairdressing community – Trevor Sorbie, Tony Rizzo, María Yus, Filippo Sepe and Sergi Bancells.
Suffice to say, those are five people everyone wants to impress. Congratulations to the winners below, who did just that.
