Photographed by industry icon Andrew O’Toole, Stage by the CAST Artistic Team references 70’s styles disco trends amidst an otherwise modern collection that plays with pops of colour.

Wild, curly afros, pastel pink hues and long dead straight locks all recall retro trends, with thigh-high boots, metallic and pink hoop earrings, white painted nails and the collection’s use of accessories an allusion to Charlie’s Angels or Saturday Night Fever. More contemporary fashion pieces, like a timeless little black dress, merge the tenses into something unique.

Rich golden blondes, deep brunettes, grey and black ombrè and a candy floss pastel pink shade all make an appearance in the collection which experiments with colour, utilising a muted fashion palette, grey background and natural makeup to allow the hair to stand out. Both in colour and stylistically, the collection of images is an adventurous mix that steps back in time within its own modern interpretation.
