The Australian Hair Fashion Awards (AHFAs) are happening on Sunday November 8 in Sydney – that’s this weekend. The event celebrates its 28th year with a dual in-person and digital component at its proud home of the Big Top Luna Park. The event will adhere to NSW’s guidelines and COVID-safe protocols to ensure an enjoyable, responsible evening for all.
The format will see 200 VIP and industry guests on the Black Carpet and attending the event. Celebrity entertainment will include the comedic duo the SketchShe girls, who will host the carpet festivities, as well as MC duties by TV personality Carissa Walford. The event will also include a three-course meal and a musical performance by America’s Got Talent semi-finalist Sheldon Riley, who will be debuting his new single. Another musical performance will come courtesy of Alfie Acurie, while DJ Rowntree will be playing throughout the evening.

Once again, event sponsors Dyson will provide an inspirational show, celebrating their history and birth in the 90s. This nostalgic show will offer 90s direction across music, video and lighting, in a runway show created by the brand’s inimitable styling ambassadors. The evening itself will be set with purple, copper and black décor, elegantly reflecting the Dyson Corrale straightener in a modern and minimalist form.
