Taking pioneering salon practice to the next level, The Australian Hairdressing Council has concocted a stellar seminar series for Hair Expo including the debut of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey Business’.
The AHC is tackling some of the most appealing business topics facing salon owners today. The breakfast seminar will feature Jason Aitchison from The Australian Taxation Office, whose strategic approach to data matching will be sure to set you on the straight and narrow and eliminate those unwanted numbers, not to mention take a zero or two off your next number nightmare.
Topics covered will include getting the facts right with employment including all the facts you need for a successful relationship, whether it be a short-term bond or a long-term partnership. Jason will uncover how the ATO audits the hairdressing industry and why.
Beyond the Fifty Shades of Grey Business seminar, the AHC is taking a more open approach and will be featuring Youthworx on the MainStage and well as the Launch Pad stage. The Mainstage will feature some of the council’s more experienced Youthworx members, compered by Sam Overton.
The AHC is also providing two seminars for apprentices at absolutely no charge. These free seminars will feature an invaluable line up of young guns and hairdressing hipsters talking about their careers, their loves, their tips and most importantly sharing in the insatiable world that is hairdressing. Nobody else at Hair Expo will present an opportunity to get up-close and personal with some of our most idolized industry identities.
With the energy and enthusiasm of some of our industry’s greatest showstoppers, the AHC will inspire every hairdressing professional and all facets of our industry.
A selection of AHC members will additionally be compering on the Mainstage throughout the weekend so be sure to stop by and network, listen and learn from some of our industry’s best.
