The Factory Issue Two is live – over 100 pages of superior interactivity inspired by L’Oréal Professionnel and their Guest Editor of choice, Damien Rinaldo.
As with Issue One, we explore the interests, passions and profound skill of our Guest Editor at hand – Damien Rinaldo lifting the lid on his gray matter for you to get closer to what makes him tick, what gets him excited.
This includes intel into Neo Expressionist artist Jean-Michel Basquiat and a rare interview with Damien’s ultimate fashion designer Boris Bidjan Saberi. For a man who usually takes a silent approach to media, we were honoured to take time from this Paris Fashion Week-staple, and even allowed Damien to ask him a couple of questions. A pretty special moment for AHFA’s current Australian Hairdresser of the Year – in fact when learning of the opportunity he felt “like a school girl.” That’s what we’re all about, taking people, products and brands out of their comfort zone.
In Issue Two we explore the legacy of L’Oréal Professionnel and get creative with the products and branding that define it. In honor of every artists ultimate muse L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.ART, we dress Damien up as Karl Lagerfeld and send Wild Stylers new Crépage De Chignon product on a Route 66 road trip. With a focus on the beauty giant’s blonde portfolio, we took Work Models’ beauty Rebecca Schulz to an alleyway and challenged the standard beauty code – hair by Damien Rinaldo, naturally.
And that’s just the beginning.
