Welcome HUSL – the app formerly known as The Unwritten App has a new brand identity and a whole new version. Version 2 launched in Early February, with the rebrand to roll out fully through the coming weeks. The new version has dynamic new tools and is available at no cost to hairdressing professionals.
The unique app made waves as a unique interface that allows hairdressers to combine wholesale and drop-shipping of a wide range of professional brands as an all-in-one business solution for independent hairdressers. Independent hairdressers can scale their sales without investment in inventory, as well as harness appointment, online booking, POS, payment and client-facing tools, without any subscription fees or added costs, and with elevated functions in its new version.

The app offers hairdressers the opportunity to configure processing times and manage multiple clients during downtime, as well as delivering a new appointment book that’s faster, sleeker, more visible and more flexible.
Updated features include the introduction of TaptoPay, which allows hairdressers to take payments directly on their phone for totally flexible transactions. Other features such as drag-and-drop appointments, which allows users to easily move bookings across days with helpful availability prompts to avoid schedule conflicts, and zoom and swipe gestures, which allow users to easily navigate, find and manage their schedule and appointments, add to the interface.
The unique hero element of the app, its drop-ship and wholesale shipping shortcuts, offers quick access to these services and a personalised eStore that streamlines retail options from hairdressers to clients. Within this update and amidst the platform’s many brand partnerships, the Unwritten brand of professional haircare products will continue under that same name.
