London-based hair educator Tom Warr, Academy Director at Blue Tit and renowned as a leading UK hairdresser, will be travelling to Australia and educating around the country in an exclusive education tour presented by The Circle and CPR Hair.
Tom will kick off the tour in Byron Bay at the brands’ Salon Forum, where he will be a guest speaker. Tom will then educate in Melbourne on February 24 at Parental Advisory Hair, Collingwood, and in Sydney on March 3 at SanTelmoStudio, Chippendale, presenting SubCulture Cuts: Creative Cutting workshops.

The workshops will showcase Tom’s unique education into cutting techniques like disconnection, length selection, and texturising. Students will also learn how to tailor these styles for various clients and create bold, modern artistic looks with these precision cutting techniques. Attendees will elevate their craft and learn fashion-forward cutting skills. The sessions will focus on two iconic looks – the soft Chelsey and the punk rocker, which offer edgy, subcultural looks, created in personalised aways.

Tom’s career has spanned across both Blue Tit’s salon and Academy, rising to his current role as Academy Director and as a global educator. He is known for his talent in technical precision and creative expression. His passion for teaching is built on equipping students with technical foundations and exploring modern trends. He blends classic techniques with contemporary styles, inspiring audiences around the world.
“I walked into Blue Tit without any plan to become a hairdresser, but the stylists and the salon itself inspired me,” he said. “Now, I never want to do anything else!”
