Acclaimed hair industry icon Tracey Hughes presented an educational storm and shared her secrets of ‘ageless beauty’ at the prestigious Intercoiffure Fall Atelier at New York’s famous Waldorf Hotel, writes Tam Allenby.
Tracey Hughes’ Intercoiffure debut also kicked off her new partnership and role as Global Creative Director for lash and brow authority RevitaLash Cosmetics. The event drew crowd attention to their recently launched hair care collection ReGenesis, for fine and thinning hair.
Tracey presented 7 models of all ages and ethnicities (including a grey haired 69-year old model), demonstrating her holistic approach to beauty that now combines the very best in hair, fashion and lashes.
The models represented certain periods in life, from the ‘innocence of your teens’, ‘the exploration of your twenties’, ‘development within your thirties’, ‘the determination of your forties’, the ‘wisdom of your fifties’ through to the ‘liberation of your sixties’.
Frank Gambuzza, President of Intercoiffure USA, said the event had a ‘record breaking’ attendance. “We had world class talent from 7 countries from around the globe, all extremely accomplished,” he explained. “I must say that one of the biggest and best of them all was from the multi-talented Aussie, Tracey Hughes… her creative presentation received a roaring standing ovation from a tough New York audience.”
In addition to the Intercoiffure event, Tracey also introduced herself as the newly appointed Global Creative Director for RevitaLash at a media breakfast in Tribeca, meeting with beauty editors from Allure, marie claire and Cosmopolitan.
It certainly seems like the powerhouse from down continues to make her mark on the USA in a big way. We expected nothing less.
