UNITE has appointed Gary Baker as their new creative director. Gary’s new role will include forecasting trends in order to maintain a positive direction for the hair product company and its varied efforts in education, marketing, and photography campaigns, writes Chloe Falivene.
Gary is an international sensation (much like the UNITE brand itself), an acclaimed session stylist, educator, and platform artist. His multiple-award winning work has led to an exclusive list of clientele and fans, including Kate Blanchet, Muse, Depeche Mode, and even members of royalty worldwide.
After beginning his career in London, Gary has travelled extensively sharing his creative vision and signature technique. He’s worked for many industry luminaries, including Trevor Sorbie, Antony Mascolo, and two-time British Hairdresser of the Year Beverley C.
The UNITE Professional Salon System combines European creativity and American ingenuity to create effective, boutique products. Found only in professional salons, the collection’s versatility and efficacy provides a high bar for the industry: all offerings are paraben-free, sulphate-free, and PETA certified.
