When award-winning and legendary British hairdresser Sally Brooks creates hair art, we get our hands on it as soon as possible. Her latest inspirational collection, titled Aura, has even more to teach and motivate global hairdressing and editorial communities.

“I worked with movement and textures to create individual images that work together as a collection, rather than create a collection of images. These images have captured a moment in time, tell their own story and are timeless beauty,” Sally said.

The dreamy images have an ethereal quality, playing with bold and multidimensional hair hues, tulle and other textured fashion styling and plenty of volume in perfect waves, curls and up styles. The overall palette cascades from blue to green and purple, while a particular hero look has the model with her back to the camera, showing off a unique and complex hairpiece laced with patterned detail.

Edgy accessories and bold makeup choices take the collection’s balletic quality into grungier territory, overwhelming the viewer with the clash of cultures perfectly facilitated in technique and vision.
